A Heritage of Faith and Worship
The work in Hyderabad first began in 1874, when Captain Winckler started cottage prayer meetings in Secunderabad. The work grew, and in 1877 the Methodist Episcopal English Church was completed and dedicated to the Glory of God and for public worship.
The church has continued to grow and minister to the needs of the Christian community. Today, this historic church stands in the heart of the city as a place of worship and fellowship, continuing the heritage entrusted to generations of believers.
