Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)
Dear brothers and sisters,
Trusting God is not always easy. There are times when life feels uncertain, prayers seem unanswered, and circumstances appear overwhelming. In such moments, we may wonder, “Why should I trust God?”
The answer is simple: God is faithful.
We trust God because He knows the end from the beginning. While our understanding is limited, God’s wisdom is perfect. He sees the path ahead when we can only see the next step. Even when we do not understand His plans, we can trust His heart.
We trust God because of His unfailing love. Throughout Scripture, God continually demonstrates His care for His people. He provided for Israel in the wilderness, protected Daniel in the lions’ den, and delivered Paul through many hardships. Most importantly, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save us. If God loved us enough to give His Son for us, we can trust Him with every part of our lives.
We also trust God because He keeps His promises. People may fail us, but God never does. His promises are secure, His Word is true, and His faithfulness endures forever. Even when circumstances change, God remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Trusting God does not mean we will never face difficulties. It means we believe that God is with us in those difficulties. He gives strength when we are weak, peace when we are anxious, and hope when we are discouraged.
Today, whatever burden you carry, place it in God’s hands. Trust Him with your future, your family, your health, your ministry, and your dreams. He may not always answer in the way we expect, but He always works for our good and His glory.
Remember: God has never failed His people, and He will not fail you.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, teach us to trust You with all our hearts. When we are afraid, remind us of Your faithfulness. When we are uncertain, help us rest in Your promises. Strengthen our faith and help us follow You, knowing that Your plans are always good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
